BACKGROUND:
Scott Paterson grew up and was educated in the Washington, D.C. area. He is a very goal oriented individual who earned the rank of Eagle Scout at a very early age. Working his way through school, he attended Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland and received A.A. in Business Administration. He graduated in 1988 from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Management and Consumer Studies.
After graduating college, he moved to Southern Maryland in 1989.
Scott received his real estate license in 1989. He was associated with large and small firms by being pursued and recruited for his skills as a top producing listing agent.
Education has been always important to Scott. He continued his education as a Realtor becoming a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). He soon Completed his Certified Residential Specialist Designation (CRS). Now he is currently a Certified Commercial Investment Member Candidate (CCIM.) In 2006, he received his Accredited Seller Representative Designation (ASR). In 2007-2008, Scott helps distressed homeowners renegotiate loans with major mortgage lenders as a independent Loss Mitigation Consultant (LMC).
Scott has accomplished his Private Pilot Certificate March 2009.

He is a proud dad of his 6 year old daughter, Lauren. Scott gives back to the community by actively supporting: Calvert County Lions Club, Christ Church, Port Republic, Calvert County Fair, Calvert Animal Welfare League, Solomon's Island Yacht Club, Calvert Marine Museum and Wildlife Rescue.
